Although Mattel holds WWE’s action figure license and Jazwares holds AEW’s, it’s hard not to feel like both companies are making figures for the rival promotion given the flow of talent between the two. That flow was a bit one-sided — driven by the frequency of WWE releasing talent — until Cody Rhodes jumped back to WWE as Seth Rollins’ “mystery” opponent at WrestleMania.
Cody’s return to the E left many collectors concerned that we’d never see the AEW Supreme action figure of Cody revealed over Revolution weekend. Those fears — thankfully — were proven unfounded when pre-orders. for the series went up at Ringside Collectibles.

Cody and Britt Baker make up the first series of Jazwares’ premium AEW line, followed by Kenny Omega and Malakai Black. The first series is already on backorder — early pre-orders came with an August ship date — and are set to ship in September.
The Supreme line gets a premium price tag too, with the two figure set retailing for $88.99 for both ($44.99 for each figure). Follow the link to order.

Meanwhile, WWE’s premium action figure line — the Ultimate Edition series — saw its 14th wave go up for pre-order as well last week, with Roman Reigns and Jeff Hardy making up that lineup. Jeff Hardy is, of course, no longer with WWE due to erratic behavior or something. Whose erratic behavior is up for debate.
Mattel showed off the Roman Reigns figure, which looks like a must-get, at the WrestleMania Axxess SuperStore.

Acknowledge how great this Roman figure looks with the screaming head. The set of two retails for $76.99 ($38.99 for individual figures) with an early August ship date. Follow the link to order.
Jeff Hardy’s inclusion in the wave was a mystery until the pre-orders popped on Ringside. There’d been rumors Hardy was the second — but we’d also heard Rey Mysterio might fill out the wave. So … which Jeff are we getting. Mattel WWE marketing manager Steve Ozer revealed that UE14 Jeff will be late 2002/early 2003 with white pants, two new heads, a slimmer torso (THANK YOU!), and new soft goods shirt.
There were also some basic and Championship Showdown pre-orders, but that’s not what you’re here for.
Sgt. Slaughter Coming to GI Joe Classified Line

Serpentor better be on high alert. Sgt. Slaughter is coming to the GI Joe Classified line later this year. Slaughter’s 6-inch figure was revealed last week.
Slaughter has signed a multi-year deal with Hasbro, so this won’t be a one-off either.
Chella Uncensored Dynamite Kid Heads Sulpt, Packaging Revealed
Chella Toys’ first WWE Elite-style action figure in its Uncensored line — Dynamite Kid — is inching closer to release. The U.K. toy company revealed the head sculpt and packaging for the legendary member of the British Bulldogs last week.
Boxed images of the figure could come as soon as this week. COVID has, of course, caused delays in the figure’s release and Sabu is expected to go up for pre-order soon-ish.
Retro News: Zombie Sailor’s Heels & Faces 2 Lineup; Chella’s SummerSlam ’92 Animal
Pre-orders for the second wave of Zombie Sailor Toys’ retro-style Heels & Faces line will be coming this summer. The lineup features Kevin Sullivan from his Satanic Florida days, Andre The Giant, King Kong Bundy, Bruiser Brody, Raven, and Nick Gage.
In other retro-style figure news, Chella Toys will be making the SummerSlam 1992 version of the Road Warriors: Animal, Hawk and Paul Ellering. But hopefully not Rocco. No one needs that.
In Stores Now

WWE Ultimate Edition Alexa Bliss has begun hitting Target stores.

WWE Ultimate Edition 13 — featuring Hulk Hogan and Mr. T from their WrestleMania 1 main event tag team match — is shipping now to those who pre-ordered them from Ringside Collectibles. It looks like both are on backorder with a June ship date for T and July for Hogan. However, both figures keep popping up in Ringside’s damaged package section.
