The Bret “Hit Man” Hart vs. Goldberg Elite 2-pack was among the first reveals of San Diego Comic-Con At-Home Week.
This marks the first time in the line for the WCW U.S. Championship title belt, as well as the Hit Man in his WCW-era attire. Hart also comes with a metal chest protector from his notable angle with Goldberg, but he does not come with a hockey jersey as had been previously reported. Instead, a WCW Monday Nitro T-shirt is included, another first. Hart also gets a pair of shades.
The Goldberg figure looks to be a re-release of the Entrance Greats Goldberg figure, along with the Goldberg Elite 74 head sculpt, with maybe a more youthful paint job.
Still, the WCW U.S. Championship is the reason to snag this set. That alone is worth the $39.99 price tag on Entertainment Earth (October ship date) or $47.99 on Ringside Collectibles (early September ship date).
