Mattel wasn’t the only company teasing new wrestling figures over WrestleMania weekend.
The Major Wrestling Figure Podcast is launching 8-inch LJN-style action figures under the “Big Rubber Guys” name. The first two figures in the line will be Matt Cardona and Brian Myers.
Cardona’s figure is in a similar post to “Macho Man” Randy Savage, while Myers resembles either “Mr Wonderful” Paul Orndorff or the Warlord. Mike Kanik shared these photos of the hand painted prototypes in the Major Wrestling Figure Podcast Facebook page and on social media today.

Jazwares may have the rights to the LJN and Wrestling Superstars names, but the Major Pod appears to be making the most true-to-style figures to the 1980s WWF line.
Look for these in May.
AEW should re-introduce the rubber action figures of wrestling really soon. They deserve a reboot. ROH should do it soon too. I wouldn’t how pissed off WWE gets.
