CM Punk debuted in All Elite Wrestling last night in his home city of Chicago. Punk’s debut was the worst kept secret by design, as the up-and-coming wrestling group sold out the United Center.
For collectors, all eyes turns to the Jazwares team. Jazwares partner Jeremy Padawer stoked the fire last night, asking his followers to “RT if you think we should fast track a CM Punk action figure.” He didn’t stop there.
“You do realize that we’re gaining steam now. More space at retail. Deeper roster. Let’s gooooo! Love it when a plan comes together. Thank you @AEW @Jazwares #AEW figures. #CMPunk @CMPunk”
The question is just how fast is “fast tracked.” Turnaround time for action figures has historically taken about a year.
As for what’s next for Punk, he will be on this Wednesday’s Dynamite in the build to his debut match against Darby Allin at All Out on September 5.
