The long-awaited first wave of New Japan Pro Wrestling Ultimates from Super 7 will finally begin shipping within the next couple of weeks, the San Francisco toy maker announced today in an e-mail to pre-order customers.
“Thank you for your patience with these figures!” the company wrote. “The production and delivery for this made-to-order ULTIMATES! release is complete. The figure is being received in our warehouse and we anticipate shipping out to you in the next couple of weeks!’
If you ordered these through Super 7, check your e-mail as Super 7 is double checking addresses to “prevent any incorrect or delayed deliveries.” Get that done by March 1.
The first wave of figures — Kazuchika Okada, Tomohiro Ishii, Hiroshi Tanahashi and Will Ospreay — first went up for pre-order on November 1, 2019. The COVID-19 pandemic delayed production during the shutdowns in the spring of 2020.
The second wave, which includes Tetsuya Naito, Bushi, Hiromu Takahashi and Evil — is expected to ship in April.
