AEW Dynamite nights are becoming days of AEW Unrivaled reveals. The latest wave of reveals from Jazwares partner Jeremy Padawer are underway, featuring renders of Unrivaled wave five.
First up, the long-awaited figures of Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus from the Jurassic Express.
Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus check off two of the biggest wants from collectors of the AEW line of figures.
Other AEW stars expected in the wave include first-time-in-the-line figures of Scorpio Sky and Kazarian of SCU, as well as new figures of “Hangman” Adam Page and Jon Moxley.
Update: 3:32 p.m. ET: Padawer confirmed that Moxley is in the next wave.
Hopefully with a new Moxley in the line, his height will be adjusted down accordingly from his wave two figure, which was still among the best Moxley/Dean Ambrose figures to hit the market.
Update 3:46 p.m. ET: Add Kazarian to wave 5.
Update 4:02 p.m. ET: Kazarian has a partner now, as SCU’s Scorpio Sky is also in the wave.
Update 4:15 p.m. ET: “Hangman” Adam Page is the fifth and final character within wave 5.
Update 4:32 p.m. ET: Moxley, with an eye patch, will be the chase figure in wave 5. Jazwares’ lead AEW designer Magic Olmos confirmed that the eye patch will be sculpted.
Meanwhile, Padawer confirmed that the chase figures in wave five will still be 1-of-1,000, while rare figures will be 1-of-500.
Update 4:47 p.m. ET: “Hangman” Adam Page will be the 1-of-500 rare figure in the wave.
Update 4:55 p.m. ET: Padawer says referees, announcers and managers are coming in future waves.
Update 3:35 p.m. ET: Padawer discussed what the addition of the Unmatched line will do for the series of action figures, including working more women into both lines.
More to come. Check back for updates to this post.
