Jazwares Will Work with Jon Huber’s Family, AEW to Honor Mr. Brodie Lee

It’s Wednesday, you know what that means.

All Elite Wrestling (AEW) will honor the life and legacy of Mr. Brodie Lee, the former Luke Harper in WWE, during tonight’s episode of Dynamite on TNT.

Lee, real name Jon Huber, died at age 41 on December 26 from a lung ailment that was unrelated to COVID-19. He had been off of AEW television since dropping the TNT Championship to Cody Rhodes in a dog collar match on October 7.

According to the Wrestling Observer, Huber was working out on a Peloton bike and became so tired that he couldn’t complete his workout. His condition worsened after that and he was hospitalized at the end of October at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida.

After Huber’s death was announced, Jeremy Padawer, a partner at Jazwares, which makes the AEW Unrivaled line of action figures, wrote on his social channels that the company would work with AEW and Huber’s family to honor the fallen grappler as the family “sees fit.”

An action figure of Huber as the leader of the Dark Order was on the wish lists of many collectors.

Huber, as Luke Harper, was featured throughout his tenure in WWE within the Mattel Elite and basic lines. Within the premium WWE Elite line, Harper was included in waves 29, 35 and 66. He also had several figures within the basic and Battle Pack waves. PWTorch.com recently rounded up some of the memorabilia from Huber’s career.
