Action Figure Theater: My Damn Toys on WWE Elite Miscues, WWE Stage Creator’s New Setup & More

Welcome to Action Figure Theater, a roundup of the best wrestling figure videos of the week. There are a lot of great content creators out there, so if you’re not already subscribed and following along, here’s an in-case-you-missed-it roundup.

The annual Mattel WWE Comic-Con reveals come with a mix of excitement and disappointment for collectors. The excitement is understandable — new reveals, first-time-in-the-line characters, new lines, etc. The disappointment can be just as all over the place, from a lack of certain character reveals (still no Hercules?) to part choices. My Damn Toys focuses on the latter, ticking off several head scratchers, from the kickpads on Johnny Gargano and Viking Raider Erik, to the omission of details on the forthcoming Survivor Series Elite Kane.

It wasn’t all constructive criticism, as My Damn Toys also ranked the 10 best of Comic-Con.

The most prolific action figure stage maker in the game, the aptly named WWE Stage Creator, shows off his new entrance stage, and it is massive and in-scale. This is a fig fedder’s dream come true. Take a look.

If you’re unfamiliar with WWE Stage Creator’s work, give a watch to his Greatest Royal Rumble of All Time.

Elite 78 began shipping recently from Ringside Collectibles, and several YouTubers offered reviews of the series, which features Kofi Kingston, Randy Orton, Matt Riddle, Drake Maverick, R-Truth, “Superstar” Billy Graham and Naomi. SLS Animations offers his take on Kofi and Naomi, including showing off the glow.

Wrestling Hero Figz dives into customizing action figures, from giving E78 Matt Riddle a much-needed arm upgrade, to creating a Kane/Harley Quinn attire mashup for A.J. Lee. It’s a high-energy view, with a lot of easy-to-do fixups.
