Super 7 Revealed as AEW’s Next Modern Scale Licensor?

We may finally know who is getting the AEW modern-scale figure license.

A UK retailer has dropped pre-orders for a pair of AEW Deluxe figures from Super 7.

Loaded Dice opened pre-orders for two AEW Deluxe figures: Kevin Knight and Will Ospreay.

The listing says the figures are expected in July 2027. The figures appear to retail in the $30 USD range.

No official word from AEW or Super 7 yet.

Jazwares still has a handful of releases expected to hit before the end of the year, including old man Sting, the Timeless Toni Storm 3-pack with Luther and Mina Shirakawa and the “King of Harts” Owen Hart, as well as several Ringside Collectibles exclusives.

So, I wonder if we hear anything more on these before the end of the year. It’s possible there’s a pre-order given one is live in the UK. But I’d expected 2027 to be the timeframe.

Super 7 had long been rumored to be the destination for the license. Now it appears to be confirmed.

  1. Oh god. Oh no. I like Super7’s Godzilla merch but I didn’t like their NJPW figures…

Hopefully if this is true AEW forces them to join Mattel and Jazwares in the 21st century in terms of articulation

    1. I would hope there’s been some evolution since the New Japan line. Someone who has the Deluxe figures from the recent waves might have better perspective than me.

      1. Here’s hoping. I personally owuld have liked Hasbro, they have a very good figure formula and accessories. But Super7 does put out typically high quality figures in terms of paint application. I just wasn’t impressed with their molds or articulation.

        ALWAYS HOPEFUL THOUGH!
