Jazwares will continue producing AEW action figures in 2026.
Rumors of a split between Jazwares and AEW began circulating over the weekend on the AEW Reddit page. A verified poster called Odd_Examination2743 wrote: “For the figure collectors, Jazwares will no longer have the AEW license. Not quite sure yet the details around the split but it’s happening. Who would you like to see pick up the figure line in the future? Hasbro?”
In his weekly Q&A, Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp said his sources had also heard the partnership would be ending.
However, Major Wrestling Figure Podcast co-host Matt Cardona shared a statement from Jazwares chief brand officer Jeremy Padawer saying: “I think it’s fair to say that you’ve talked to me and from everything you understand and I’ve said, we’re making AEW product in 2026.”
Cardona shared the message on this week’s episode of the Major Wrestling Figure Podcast.
Wrestling Figure News reached out to Padawer, Jazwares and AEW for comment over the weekend. We’ll update this post if they respond.
Although Jazwares will be making AEW product in 2026, that doesn’t rule out the license expiring sometime next year or in 2027. Could another toy maker be taking over the license? Let’s hope so if this partnership is truly winding down.
Jazwares showed off several new product during San Diego Comic-Con in July. The company’s retail strategy appeared to change as AEW Supreme figures moved from exclusivity with Walmart to being available on Ringside Collectibles and Jazwares Vault.
There’s around 30 new figures previously announced, and a lot of that earmarked for Jazwares Vault.Let’s hope Jazwares knocks all of that out and more in the next year.
