The Walmart exclusive Maivia Legacy WWE Elite 3-pack is such a niche set due to the deep cut characters, but it’s a fun one. Who would have thought we’d get “Soul Man” Rocky Johnson and “High Chief” Peter Maivia at the biggest of big box retailers in 2024?

Rocky Johnson is an upgrade over the Elite 80, with a more accurate skin tone, updated boots and the double-jointed arms.

I do like the Elite 80 purple attire better but the upgrades trump attire preference. And I only need one figure of the Soul Man.

The High Chief feels great in hand. Moves around buttery smooth. The tattoo details are on him are insane. If he were more well-known, he”d be a figure of the year candidate.

And The (Yacht) Rock is a unique street gear attire. The soft goods, wrist watch and arm bracelet are excellently done.

However, it’s hard not to knock off some points for the lack of Brahma Bull tattoo, which YouTube reviewer Alex West pointed out that he did have at the time of this.

Still, this is a fun set. You get a first-time-in-the-line Peter Maivia, a much needed updated Rocky Johnson and a Rock look we’ve yet to get in the first 14 years of Mattel making WWE figures.

Just for fun … here’s Peter Maivia with the Wild Samoans …

I just bought this set at Walmart. I have been eyeing it since it came out last summer, but the $70 price tag was too much for me. I was checking out the action figures and it was on clearance for $45 so I grabbed it. I was checking out and it rang up for $35. It was a great bargain.
