PowerTown: 4 Horsemen Tease, TNA Figure Lineup Reveal Date, Macho Man, Diamond Collection

PowerTown’s Steve Rosenthal and Magnum TA (Terry Allen) joined the Wrestling Figure News Podcast to talk all things PowerTown, from the upcoming TNA action figure line, the next Ultras wave of premium action figures, the Remco All-Star Wrestlers launch and much more.

Here are notes from our conversation.

TNA

• The TNA lineup will be announced this week. The pre-order is expected to come shortly after the lineup reveal.
• Rosenhthal said pre-orders for TNA and All-Star Wrestlers will overlap.

The Diamond Collection

• Diamond Collection Ultras Kerry Von Erich is on the water.
• The Diamond Collection will go across each line, including Remco All-Star Wrestlers, Ultras, TNA, etc. And each figure is expected to be in white attire.
• For TNA, could it be a mix active and legends. Magnum TA says TNA has “a lot of needle movers” on its roster.

The Horsemen

• The Four Horsemen are teased, and Magnum says it will be “something that has never been done before.”
• “You’re gonna have options on how you want to remember this iconic group,” Magnum said.

“Macho Man” Randy Savage

• Rosenthal discussed “Macho Man” Randy Savage as having an open IP.
• “We have the full family,” Rosenthal said.
• PowerTown is going to celebrate Savage along with the rest of the family, Lanny and Angelo Poffo.

I Quit Match: Magnum TA vs. Tully Blanchard

• Rosenthal said there’s something “very special” planned for the Magnum TA vs. Tully Blanchard I Quit Match “down the road. “

Ultras

• Rosenthal promises a busy 2024.
• PowerTown has six to seven months of video announcements planned out, Rosenthal said. He’d like to be 12-16 months out.
• The company is already planning 2025.
• PowerTown won’t be doing just series of figures. There will be special releases.
• “We’re going to be doing something consistently,” Rosenthal said, adding his desire to have product monthly.
• “If we want to do an exclusive of Gorgeous George, we’re going to do it. We’re going to do it the right way at the right time. We just want to keep feeding product into the marketplace.”
• PowerTown will diversify beyond wrestling.
• Ultras 2 won’t go up for pre-order this month but will follow closely after the TNA pre-order, Rosenthal said.
• Ultras 2 tooling has started. Doesn’t want customers to wait 12 to 16 months for product.
• Ultras 2 Kamala and Junk Yard Dog are in their Mid-South Wrestling looks.
• PowerTown is looking to add peg holes in the feet. It’s also looking to change the connect for the hands. The Remcos will be different than Ultras 1.
• PowerTown has a deal with Dave Millican, who has a deal with the Reggie Parks estate for the historical championship belt designs.
• There will be championship belt packs.
• Matt Cardona and Brian Myers Ultras will ship in late spring.
• Ultras 3 is expected for this year. The line is planned out through Ultras 5.
• PowerTown will look to get into rings and cages, especially for Remcos.
• PowerTown has an exclusive partnership with TNA to produce action figures, Rosenthal said. The company is expecting to announce in the coming weeks a partnership with a group to celebrate lucha Libre stars.

Remco All-Star Wrestlers

• Remcos will include championships and soft goods.
• The price point for the Remcos will be “fantastic” and will be competitive, Rosenthal said. They’ll offer bundles.
