WWE Elite Then Now Forever 4-Pack Recalled; Will Be Available Again ‘Very Soon’

The Target exclusive WWE Then Now Forever Together 4-pack has been recalled. We began seeing several accounts yesterday of collectors being unable to purchase the pack at checkout as the item was flagged as recalled.

Word going around is the packaging is the reason for the recall as packs that made it into Target stores featured a WWE 60th anniversary WWE logo and not the “Then Now Forever Together” wording.

Don’t rush out to spend big bucks on the secondary market for the item though.

Mattel WWE global marketing manager Steve Ozer posted on the WrestlingFigs.com forum to “Hang tight. You’ll be able to purchase these figs very soon.”

The Major Wrestling Figure Podcast also posted that the pack will be “redistributed” with the Then Now Forever Together slogan. You can see the difference in the two packs in the Instagram post below.

The packs were still available for sale as of Thursday. That’s when I was able to snag one from a Target store.

  1. Wouldn’t be surprising if they are also removing the packs on the store shelves until the actual advertised street date.

  2. I get the people who collect these MOC, would want the correct lettering on the top. But someone like me who just takes out the figures to display, this is the lamest reason to recall them.

    1. WWE/Vince McMahon has always been weird about numbers. I guess that’s the reason the roman numerals disappeared from Mania. I’m not sure why they couldn’t just sell through what was on shelves and then do a running change.
