Mattel Creations is giving collectors an extra 12 hours to place their pre-orders for the WWE Ultimate Edition Cody Rhodes action figure. The pre-order window has been extended to 11:59 p.m. PT on July 29/2:59 a.m. ET on July 30.
The weeklong pre-order will wrap up and either pave the way for future pre-orders like this or … not. Given the multiple orders for Cody that many collectors have placed, I’d be shocked if this isn’t a success.
The pre-order price is $45 plus shipping and tax, which will land somewhere around $55. The figure is expected to ship on or before July 21, 2023. Mattel WWE marketing manager Steve Ozer has said there’s always a chance this could ship early, but the production process takes time and as COVID proved, can be unpredictable and present unforeseen challenges.
The first Cody Ultimate comes with three heads, a weight belt and soft goods robe from his WrestleMania 38 return earlier this year.
