Mattel WWE marketing manager Steve Ozer provided the following update on this weekend’s pre-orders. Of note, efforts are being made to get the remaining inventory of WWE Ultimate Edition Hulk Hogan and Jeff Hardy figures up for pre-order on Amazon.com.
Additionally, WWE Legends 11 is expected to go up for sale on Target.com on Sunday, July 25. The Legends 12 pre-order, however, has been pushed to next week. This is of course subject to change as we’ve seen this weekend and during past Comic Cons weekends.
Although both the Masters of the WWE Universe wave 7 and the Hollywood Elite “Rowdy” Roddy Piper as John Nada from They Live sold out online, both will be available in brick-and-mortar Walmart stores this fall.
Additionally, the crowdfunding campaign for the WWE Ultimate Edition New Generation Arena, with Diesel action figure and LED light up neon entrance way is ongoing. As of this writing, the project is 15% funded with 771 backers. The project needs at least 5,000 backers to become reality. I can’t stress enough that if WWE collectors want future projects like this to become reality, this first one has to get backed, even if the extra tiers aren’t unlocked. Back the project here.
