The Masters of the WWE Universe line will wrap up after the ninth wave, Mattel WWE marketing manager Steve Ozer revealed during today’s Comic Con panel.
As Howard Finkel would say, HOWEVER … the line will be replaced by a Remco-inspired WWE Superstars line with all of the retro appeal. The first four figures revealed today were Hollywood Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, the Honky Tonk Man, and Bray Wyatt dressed as the Mad Hatter.
As for that final Masters of the WWE Universe line, it will feature three major stars: “Stone Cold” Steve Austin as Trap Jaw, Chyna as She-Ra, and Rey Mysterio as Stratos.
