Jazwares has confirmed the lineup for AEW Unrivaled 6, and the wave features just two first-time-in-the-line figures: Hikaru Shida and Jake Hager (a.k.a. Jack Swagger).
The rest of wave six includes Chris Jericho, MJF, Fenix and Penta El Zero M.
Jazwares has not yet shared renders or photos of the figures, and it’s also unclear who will be the chase and rare figures in the wave. Ringside Collectibles has not yet put wave six up for pre-order. With wave five not shipping until May, wave six likely isn’t going to be available until June/July.
This is the first wave that I’m lukewarm on due to the lack of first-time figures. Don’t get me wrong, updates of MJF and Jericho are welcome — and more Lucha Bros are a plus. With a deep talent roster, it’d have been nice to get Britt Baker, the Dark Order, Best Friends, Lance Archer, Butcher and the Blade, or Brian Cage.
Still, Jazwares is building the line, and you do that with your star players. And if retailers pick up Unmatched, more of those first timers will likely be coming sooner than later.
