The British Bulldogs are coming. Well, at least one British Bulldog — Davey Boy Smith — and his trusty bulldog, Matilda. Yes, Mattel is making a 1980s tag team version of Davey Boy as an exclusive to Walmart Collector’s Edition figure in the Elite 82 series. Could a Dynamite Kid figure finally be on the way? It’s seemed like a long shot in the past, but never say never.
Joining Davey Boy in E82 will be a 1990s era heel Jerry “The King” Lawler figure, perfect for feuding with Bret “Hit Man” Hart.
Also in E82 is an updated Alexa Bliss figure, which will be the first figure to come with the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship title belt.
That leaves four slots left to fill in E82, and even more holes to fill in Elite 83. As previously noted, the planned Sasha Banks returns figure, which was supposed to be a Ringside Collectibles exclusive, will now be in E83. Also in that wave will be King Corbin, featuring a bald head sculpt and King of the Ring crown, scepter and robe.
Elite 84 will feature three first-time-in-the-line figures, including the highly anticipated figure of Rhea Ripley, as well as Kushida and Angel Garza.
Finally, Mattel teased the first Candice LeRae action figure, which won’t be available until Elite 87.
