Super 7 is diving further into the wrestling action figure realm. Former WWE stars Matt Cardona (aka Zack Ryder) and Brian Myers (aka Curt Hawkins) announced today that they have signed a deal with the San Francisco-based toy company for a series of Major Wrestling Figure Podcast action figures that will be released in 2021.
The new action figures of Cardona and Myers will be in scale with the WWE Mattel line of 6-inch figures that have become an industry standard.
Cardona and Myers, who were released from WWE earlier this year, shared renderings on Friday of their proposed figures, which will come with multiple head sculpts, interchangeable hands and accessories such as toys of themselves.
In addition to figures of Cardona and Myers, Super 7 will be making figures of Luke “Doc” Gallows and Karl Anderson, who were also released by WWE in April and have since signed with Impact Wrestling. Renderings of the duo formerly known as The O.C. were not shared.
A pre-order date has not yet been announced yet, but they will undoubtedly be offered on Super 7, as well as Ringside Collectibles.
Super 7 already jumped into the ring with a line of “Ultimate” New Japan Pro Wrestling figures, as well as figures of the legendary Andre The Giant.
Pre-orders for the first series of NJPW figures — which include Hiroshi Tanahashi, Will Ospreay, Kazuchika Okada and Tomohiro Ishii — have been delayed until later this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
A second wave of NJPW figures — including Evil, Hiromu Takahashi, Bushi and Tetsuya Naito — are slated to be released in April 2021.
