Amazon has increased the price of newer WWE Elite and Ultimate Edition figures ahead of the July 4 holiday and next week’s Prime Day deals.
Amazon increased WWE Elites by $1.83, to $24.83 each (up from $22.99), while Ultimate Editions increased $2.64, to $35.63 each (Up from $32.99).
The change was noticeable on recent Elite figures, including:
- Elite 119 Dominik Mysterio
- Elite 119 Bron Breakker
- Elite 118 Tama Tonga
- Elite 118 Tonga Loa
- Elite 118 Solo Sikoa
However, the increases were not across the board. For example, the price of Elite 117 Seth Rollins is now $22.97, down from $31.92. Elite 116 AJ Styles is down to $21.59. Elite 117 Roman Reigns is at the previous $22.99 price point.
Amazon pricing has been inconsistent recently, with Elites such as Seth Rollins 117 starting with a price closer to $32. Others, such as Elite 119 Dirty Dom and Breakker launched at $22.99 each.
Amazon isn’t the only retailer playing with pricing. Target has increased the price of some Elites. However, it’s Legends pricing for the most recent set is all over the place. Kurt Angle is listed at $43.49 on Target.com. Meanwhile, Carlito‘s price is $12.99 and Rosey is $14.99. But The Godfather is $33.49. And the upcoming Shawn Michaels (Kliq Curtain Call) Legends figure is $24.99, which may be the going rate now.
The Wall Street Journal reported in mid-May that Mattel would be increasing prices as as a result of the Trump administration’s trade policies, including tariffs.
“To offset an estimated $270 million cost of tariffs this year, the maker of Barbie dolls and Hot Wheels cars said it would accelerate its efforts to shift manufacturing out of China and raise prices, ‘where necessary,” on its U.S. products'”
Those increases appear to be hitting in full swing now.
