Hours after the Major Wrestling Figure Podcast shared prototype images of the yet-to-be-released TNA Ultras and Ultras Series 2 as well as finished product images of Remco All Stars, PowerTown Wrestling issued the above statement on social media saying the company believed the “work-in-progress” status of the Ultras would be “clearly communicated.”
The response to the critical reception of prototypes was the first statement issued by the company since a late April “state of the union” update, claiming that its outstanding pre-orders would be delivered to customers by summer 2025 or “hopefully sooner.”
Those projections proved to be optimistic, at least for the Ultras-style figures.
PowerTown now claims the Remcos will arrive in July. Those have been listed as “shipping soon” since January 2025 on PowerTown’s own pre-order status page.
The Ultras – both TNA and Legends – were last expected in April and then this summer. TNA Ultras was originally expected in August 2024, with a Series 2 announced for a December 2024 release. Series 1 is now listed as arriving this fall and there is no word on if there will even be a Series 2.
Poor communication has been among PowerTown’s biggest issues since the Ultras pre-orders closed in mid-August 2024. Instead of communicating directly with its customers today, the company relied on the Major Wrestling Figure Podcast. And then the company apparently took issue with how its narrative was communicated instead of controlling its own narrative.
Following the poor reception to the prototype images, PowerTown promised “numerous changes and improvements” are underway to both Ultras series. The company also promised to “unequivocally meet the high standards collectors expect from PowerTown.”
PowerTown is closing in on a full year since its last pre-order closed. Some customers have spent hundreds or even thousands of dollars in undelivered product. It’s probably too late for PowerTown to build goodwill with those customers, but regular updates – directly from the company – would be a start.

We’ve been waiting this long for this? Those figures look awful! I’ve put my 2 cents in with the BBB but they’re not registered with them so my strike doesn’t count. They did try to contact them but they never replied. Just a pitiful company Matt & Brian should’ve never got mixed up with, me either. I keep sending PowerCrap, I mean PowerTown, emails but no response. The WORST company to ever deal with. I hope they read this too. (Sorry for the bad language JK.)
Thanks for the update my friend

No apologies needed. I understand the frustration.

Great article. Thank you for posting this. I have over $800 in preorders currently from PowerTown. The Remco style figures I preordered on March 12, 2024, The TNA Ultras Complete Series on May 23, 2024, & Ultras Series 2 Complete Series on July 3, 2024. Two of the preorders well over a year ago, and the final one has now reached one year ago. In that time, I have received maybe 3 direct emails that relayed any sort of information and any other information was either gleaned through someone sharing something that PowerTown posted on Instagram on X or forwarding me a link.
To say that this is ridiculous is an understatement. Had I, or anyone else who preordered, had any idea that it would take this long, I am certain that none of us would have preordered from them. PowerTown had attempted to use the excuse of tariffs, but these figures should have been on their way and well past production/shipping before that was ever an issue. The fact of the matter is that PowerTown is not capable of production, logistics, or distribution on this level. These should never have been offered as a preorder, but, it is my suspicion, that PowerTown was using the money from the preorders to fund production, and now that there has been unexpected or unforeseen costs increases, they are now scrambling to figure out a way to continue (hence the weird emails from “wrestling collections” selling “uncirculated/display only” PowerTown figures at a discounted rate, which were the original Ultras Series 1 that couldn’t be sold because the legs snapped off if you tried to move them).
Unfortunately, I paid for all three separate preorders through PayPal and the 180 day dispute windows have long since passed. IF there was a way for me to cancel these preorders and get my money back, I would absolutely do that. I would suggest to anyone reading this, please, do not preorder from this company ever. After I receive (IF I receive I should say) these figures, I will be filing a report with the BBB.
I am in business, I understand the complexities and issues, especially lately. BUT, If I cannot deliver on what I am offering, I will not offer it. And if for some reason something were to come up I would over-communicate with my customer base. The lack of communication, the attitude shown in their explanation, and their overall behavior and lack of professionalism and customer service has proven to me that this company does not deserve my or anyone other wrestling figure fan’s business, much less to have the stars and legends of this industry associated with such a poorly run company.

I’m in the same boat. I pre-ordered all of TNA and all but Madusa in the Legends. Such a bummer. Thanks for the kind words.

Wait, how in the hell do these figures now look even worse than the original prototypes and images?! Specifically the TNA and Ultra Series 2. The Madusa looks like some mass production generic figure you buy at the dollar store! These guys are liars, shysters, crooks, scumbags, deceivers, conmen, complete pieces of shit, whatever other words or titles you’d like to throw at them. Forgive the language Justin, but these guys, including Wrestling Connections, can all go and get fucked by a giant horse cock.
