Review: Walmart Exclusive Young Bucks

The Walmart exclusive Matt and Nick Jackson figures are a colorburst like the original AEW Dynamite open. The level of detail on these figures is outstanding.

They also boast two of the best Matt and Nick head sculpts to date, especially Nick.

Alternate heads would have been a great addition, as well as another set of torsos. Meaning, these would have made great Supreme figures (and the Young Bucks were supposed to receive Supreme figures at one point but that seems to be aborted plans at this point).

Instead, I bought a second set (I see you working, Jazwares) to trim the tassels with a cuticle trimmer (h/t @mbg1211). I also gave them some spare in-match torsos. They just need some white heatshrink tubing to make wristbands.

Overall, these are great figures. The interchangeability of Jazwares torsos makes it easy to make in-match gear. And for $19.99, they’re pretty affordable.

  1. I ordered both of these through Walmart, then recently saw the figures in my store and purchased the set knowing there’s a good chance Walmart will screw up my order which is exactly what happened. They told me they were out of stock! This isn’t the first time this has happened with figure pre-orders. Now I’m just concerned about my 2 Eddie G./2 Mankind Ultimate’s I ordered as well as 2 Sting Supreme’s. I hope I’m able to find those in my stores when the time comes.

    1. I was afraid when my order came it’d be two Jerichos or MJFs or whatever.Surprisingly wasn’t but I’d already picked them up in store. The only pre-order I missed on was Sting. Guessing he’ll be plentiful.
