Watch: Mattel Steve Ozer on Hulk Hogan’s Tan, Foley 3-Pack, Basic Leg Articulation, & Legends Greatest Hits

Mattel WWE manager of global brand market Steve Ozer was the first guest Nick Storm’s new Figure Friday YouTube show.

This marked Ozer’s first interview since San Diego Comic-Con. Ozer and Storm touched on several of those reveals. A few of the highlights:

• Mattel has requested Hulk Hogan’s tan be corrected in the upcoming 40th Anniversary of Hulkamania 3-pack. The nWo and Hulk Still Rules figures that were revealed during Comic-Con lacked the hot dog tan that Hogan is known for, brother.

• The Ringside exclusive 3 Faces of Foley 3-pack will be packaged in a length-wise box similar to the Jakks Bone Crunching Action 3-pack to be more autograph friendly.

• We know that basic articulation is getting an upgrade. With the added leg articulation is increased hip swivel. Plus, legs will be able to be heated up and swapped, similar to ball-jointed Elite legs,

• Bruno Sammartino in the upcoming Legends Greatest Hits wave will be exclusive to Target.com. The other figures in the set – Ultimate Warrior, Terry Funk, Honky Tonk Man, and Davey Boy Smith – will appear in stores on “side kick” box shelves near the end caps. Those goe up for pre-order this fall. Plus, a second wave of Greatest Hits Legends has been approved for 2024.

• The Hulk Hogan in Japan Legends Elite figure will come with a soft goods shirt.

• The Amazon exclusive WrestleMania X Razor Ramon vs. Shawn Michaels 2-pack will feature a more gold vest for Razor. The Intercontinental Championships will be the same color on the main plates.

• Don’t be concerned about the size of the World Heavyweight Championship in this render for Elite 109 Seth Rollins. It’s not a reflection of its size in relation to the figure.

• A WWE product is coming to Mattel Creations but it won’t be Ultimate.
