King Kong Bundy is coming to Zombie Sailor Toys’ 6-inch Heels and Faces line, Zombie revealed in an interview with Sam Roberts.
Bundy will join the first series of four figures that includes Jeff Jarrett, Brian Pillman and a yet-to-be-named heavyweight wrestler (someone with a similar in size to Bundy, per Zombie).
In the interview, Zombie said the earliest these figures would be in-hand would be April 2024. He mentioned that around 30 guys are signed and some are already painted at the factory. He expects them to be released at a “slow trickle.”
Pillman, Bundy and the first series have been in development since January.
Roberts used an AEW Blood & Guts CM Punk to compare the height with Pillman. No word on price point at this time.
Earlier this week, we learned that Zombie will also be launching “Macho Man” Randy Savage figures, including 6-inch figures, in the Savage Legacy Collection. However, Savage was not mentioned during the interview, which you can watch above.
Wrestling Figure News 
Looks pretty good aside form the lack of bicep/shoulder articulation, why that was excluded despite these figures clearly being geared towards hardcore collectors who want to fill in the missing gaps of their Mattel collections is beyond me. Still, I have high hopes for this line and the Power Town wrestling one to help us get our hands on wrestlers who are on the outs with WWE and subsequently Mattel, fingers crossed that these end up being as good as PT’s series 1 figures were!
