When the second series of PowerTown figures is announced, the lineup will include the line’s first female wrestler.
PowerTown managing partner Steve Rosenthal teased the lineup during the latest edition of the Wrestling Figure News Podcast. Without naming names, Rosenthal teased that the female wrestler has a name from Greek mythology and a first initial of M.
That female wrestler is Madusa.
Madusa has one figure thus far, a Mattel WWE Elite Alundra Blayze. However, her WCW and before eras have not been represented in figure form.
Ultras Series 2 “should be in-hand this year” if everything goes as planned, Rosenthal said. However, he declined to share how soon pre-orders will go up. It is clear that PowerTown is working to avoid overlapping pre-orders, with exclusive Matt Cardona and Brian Myers Ultras and the first series of Remco All-Stars coming up.

After this first series, I will never buy another PowerTown figure. It’s been constantly one excuse after another with these guys. Over two weeks ago we were told our figures are ‘really, actually, finally shipping this time, we swear! Well… everyone except for Kerry Von Erich’ (even though we alluded in earlier emails that all remanufactured figures are at the warehouse).
Myself and countless others still have not received a tracking number for even one that I purchased back on the first day they went on sale. These guys continue to shoot themselves in the foot with one excuse after another.
