During last weekend’s AEW Double or Nothing Fan Fest, the Jazwares team hosted a panel, showing off future AEW action figure lineups and teasing Ring of Honor figures at the end, as we previously reported and discussed on the Wrestling Figure News Podcast.
There were few details about that Easter egg ending. Several AEW stars who made their names in ROH were featured in the video, which scored to the Briscoe Brothers’ theme. The video wrapped with a logo for Jazwares Vault.
What is Jazwares Vault, you say?
Jazwares Vault appears to be an online retailer, according to a filing with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office from December 2022. From the filing:
“JAZWARES VAULT™ trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of online retail store services featuring the sale of a wide variety of consumer goods, toys, electronics, sporting goods, costumes, apparel, bags, school supplies, stationery products, home goods, bedding, health and beauty products, food, homeware, jewelry, books, seasonal decorations, virtual goods, and NFTs.”
As I speculated on the WFN Podcast Monday, this appears to be Jazwares’ answer to Mattel Creations, an e-commerce retail site that offers exclusive product. ROH figures may prove too niche for big box retailers such as Target and Walmart but could find their way to collectors via the site.
Note that the site appears to go beyond toys to a variety of goods, and Jazwares Vault is likely to cover everything from wrestling figures to products across the company’s toy portfolio.
We’ll share more as we learn it. Watch the tease below.
