Mattel WWE senior designer Bill Miekina shared the above image compared the 2010 Entrance Greats Rey Mysterio basic action figure with the upcoming Walmart exclusive WWE Ultimate Edition figure.
Miekina wrote: “2010 vs 2023. I am better at my job than I was 15 years ago thankfully.”
Miekina has noted in interviews that the entrance gear has been retooled to be more accurate. The figure is part of the first of two Ruthless Aggression Ultimate waves exclusive to Walmart stores. Pre-orders of the figure and Eddie Guerrero sold out, but Walmart is notoriously not great at fulfilling action figure pre-orders.
Nevertheless, the figure is slated to release in August, per Walmart.
