Set your alarms for a figure hunt early Monday, August 3.
The first series of Jazzwares’ AEW Unrivaled action figure line will be in Walmart stores on August 3. The first wave of AEW includes Cody Rhodes, Kenny Omega, Chris Jericho, Brandi Rhodes and Nick and Matt Jackson of the Young Bucks. Cody and Jericho both have chase figures in wave one.
Walmart put up a pre-order for Cody, Jericho and Omega earlier this week, with each figured priced at $19.87 and a ship date in October. However, the pre-order sold out within days.
Ringside Collectibles’ back-ordered pre-orders are slated to ship in early September.
The team at Jazzwares has acknowledged that the skin tone of the figures is pretty light, and early Omega figures are lacking highlights in his hair, which has promised to be fixed in a running change. The skin tone issues have been promised to be corrected in future waves.
Meanwhile, Ringside Collectibles has begun shipping the exclusive “A Little Bit of the Bubbly” Chris Jericho set.
